The Buck Advisors’ Weston Schrank used his Moultrie trail cameras in some new areas to locate his Hit List buck “Oscar” learn some of his tips here

It can be hard to find or pattern a hit list buck enough to feel confident about hanging stands specifically for him.

Placing a lot of game cameras in several locations all across your hunting property will give you a good sample area. When it comes to mature hit list bucks they seem to be ghosts…even in a property saturated with cameras. In this case Buck Advisors’ Weston Schrank is placing several inexpensive but reliable cameras fanned out across the property over funnels, mock scrapes, and bedding areas where Oscar might be located.  In late October one out of the 7 cameras caught Oscar working a mock scrape.

The Moultrie A-5 Gen 2 cameras are inexpensive but reliable and allow you to get a bigger bang for your buck…especially when multiple cameras can help dial in on a giant!

A plan was made and executed with a hang on set, light pressure, and an incredible hunt and encounter with Oscar.
