When bucks are on lockdown…should you hunt? If not when?

Buck Advisors’ Weston Schrank is hunting in the middle of November. Movement should be good unless you are in the Lockdown! When will it stop? Should you hunt? Watch the video to find out!

The lockdown phase is dreaded among gun season hunters, especially when it is literally a LOCK down without any movement! It’s tough no doubt, so how long does it last?

For Buck Advisors’ Weston Schrank November 13-19th are the prime days of conception when most of the does are bred. How does he know this? Besides the obvious hunting observations and trail camera data, fetus scaling can be a concrete method in determining you areas peak breeding and conception dates. This also reveals the dates when fawns will start dropping.

The lockdown is tough but it only lasts so long, its November bucks are on their feet and anything can happen!
